so i know what alot of those things are for the cads and i even used google sketchup but i just want a 2d floor planlayout software i had some thing like this a while back but cant rember the name i was able to just click and drag to make a wall any sugestions as to some that might be like that it also had a little window at the botom were you could make a 3d walk through of the building

    I had something like that a few years ago; it was called 3-D Home Architect - pretty user friendly, but not all of the features worked. It had the walk through feature which was pretty cool. It was about $100 back then.

    Later, I moved to a more full-featured program called Turbo-Cad. That software was awesome. No walk throughs though, just a really great program to create scale drawings. It had a bit of a learning curve to it, but I sure made some $$$ using it to design plans for proposed projects for my contractor friend’s clients!
